Unleash Conference 2011
Here are some of the thoughts that I wrote down yesterday....
There are "Takers"- those who only take from God's grace.... take, take, take....
Then there are "Makers" those who realize what God has done and then go out and Make disciples who make disciples
Go AND Make
We are not to HAVE disciples, but MAKE disciples... Goal is not to make a bunch of Joel Tippitt's, but a bunch of Jesus Christ's
4 Things (Mindsets)
Be Gospel Centered. -Gospel defined... Man is broken and sinful/dead by birth, Man is Hopeless, Jesus Redeems my "deadness" -The Vehecial to get discipleship in your ministry is the Gospel. ONLY THAT! By the spirit
Listen & Obey. -Listen to Jesus & Obey what He says. Where is your listening posture? You cannot lead someone where you have never been.
Empower others to Make. -Don't appologize. Set them free to have responsibility with making disciples. GIVE PEOPLE RESPONISBILITY! Responsibility is HOW they "Buy In". YOU ARE ROBBING YOUR CHURCH IF YOU ARE NOT GIVING RESPONSIBILITY!!

nteraction VS. Intersection. OR Interaction NOT Intersection. -We went to a conference where there was 4,000 people and we intersected lives. I only interacted with 4 people... not the 4,000. Tomorrow I will only remember the 4. Encourage your leaders to interact NOT intersect. Big difference. LINES INTERSECT. PEOPLE INTERACT.
