A message to SRNC

Hey Y'all,

Just wanted to write you and say how much of a privilege it was to serve as your pastor these past three months! I know after talking to Pastor Rick today that his break was a good thing for him and he got some much needed rest! It was a great learning experience for me as well in learning a lot about Leadership, preaching, discipleship, problem solving and trusting the Spirit of God to change lives. We witnessed as a church between 70-80 people surrender to Jesus, started a new class (Next Steps Class) to help people take that next step of faith, Celebrate Recovery, started a new ministry to the homeless, & my favorite has been speaking to a hungry group of people teaching about evangelism. Keep it up, and always remember, YOU have an audience and an influence! God can use you and hopefully here in the near future, we will help lead you to share your faith yourself.

Thank you for trusting me during these three months and I truly believe that the best is yet to come for this church! I pray that in this coming year that 100's even 1,000's will turn to Jesus because of the influence of the Church of the Nazarene!

I want to encourage you all to come this Sunday (Feb. 6th) to church and invite your friends even to welcome the Pastor back. Let's flood him with love and words of encouragement! We will be celebrating his return in between the two services at 10:30am in the Fireside Room. Cards are totally welcome. Hope to see you there, and come WORSHIP READY that day, because we are going to praise God for the good things HE has done!

Sounds like you've done well at SRNC. NS will be a breath of great country air for you both. Take your gun's with you to fend off the deer and bobcats. One day I helped dress out 15 deer during the season. Lot's to learn in SC. All is still set for this transition in your lives. The house has room for your mama's to visit, with pop. Belize, Anderson, lots of sharing of Jesus for y'all.
