As I have been preparing for my last sermon here in Santa Rosa, CA, I can't think of any greater gift than for my friends to bring those who do not yet know the Power of Jesus Christ to church this Sunday. Again, I am burning with desire to share the Truth to people who do not yet believe. There is no greater need in a persons life than meeting and choosing to follow Jesus. Sure, Amy and I have needs in this near journey, but nothing is more important than Jesus and a person surrendering to Him. So, I want to encourage all you Santa Rosa friends to INVITE this Sunday (Jan. 30th 9:15am or 11am) to come to church.

If your friend can't come, ask if you can drive them. I would even encourage you to take them to lunch after church and PAY. Who knows, it might even be YOU that God uses to lead them to the most important decision of their life: Jesus.

You are going to be so involved at NS. I am excited for you both. The only thing bad is that you have to watch Monday Night Football at 8:30PM there. Do get involved in a "home group" right away. Lead one if you feel like it. Again, there is an 'good ole' boy's' network in the south. They'all want to see what you're about first before commiting to you. Learn to ride a horse and milk some cows if you can. Quiltin' is big there for Amy to do. Oh ya......do hit the "Jockey Lot". It's a HOOT!
