Worry.............

Worry is something that I have been thinking a lot about lately. It is something that everyone is tempted to do on a regular basis. We worry about life, money, relationships, if our car is going to break down, etc... but Jesus tells us that we are to not worry. He does not just say "Don't Worry" and leave it there, he is kind enough to give us a solution to worry. Jesus on the sermon on the mount says to his followers and those listening, "Do not worry about your life, what you will eat or drink..... the pegans do this..." the solution comes at the end of the text in Matthew 6: 33 "Seek FIRST my kingdom and my righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well". Replace worry with just doing what you know God is calling you to do. Even as I write this post, there are things that come up in my mind that I am tempted to give over to worry, but again I am reminded to follow after what my Savior says, "seek me first", He will provide for you. Just follow after what He is telling you to do.
