157 People Saved.... So Far (Today)

The words in the English dictionary cannot describe the joy I have in my heart for what I was able to wittiness today at NewSpring Church. Jesus has already saved 157 people and there are still two services to go today! It was not like anything I have ever seen before. Normally that pastor would ask people to raise their hands when they make a commitments when every one's eyes are closed, but not today. Clayton King asked for the lights to be raised and everyone's eyes to be opened as we watched people stand to their feet and shout out "Jesus is Lord". It was awesome to watch in our service people standing and responding, but it hit me in the next service. Amy and I go to one service and then during the next service we serve in the church somewhere. I was serving today in the atrium giving out "tickets" to our Easter services we are holding Easter week. In the atrium, there is overflow seating from the main service with TVs and a live feed from the sanctuary. When Clayton gave the call to stand and profess Jesus is Lord this time, they opened up the doors to the sanctuary and I saw so many people standing that I thought people were standing to walk out (as if the service was over), but these people were standing to profess Christ! Almost a whole back row stood! So I walked over to peek in and look and there were so many people standing! I was a mess, I needed a mop I was crying so much in joy at what Jesus just did. Jesus is alive, and He is in the business of saving lost people. I watched a dad and son walk out, and someone asked the dad, "did you just make a decision to trust Jesus?" and he said, "No, I already have, but my boy just did!!!" They were walking to the "Care Room" to pray with people! It was awesome!!!!

Pray that even more would be saved, and if you have a friend that needs to hear this message (OR YOU NEED TO), go online and watch this last service LIVE at www.newspring.cc The service starts at 6pm (Eastern Standard Time) That would be 3pm on the west coast.

If you miss it, on Tuesday, I will post the sermon on this blog.
