The last few days have been interesting for us and the feeling tired from the move caught up with us. We have slept a lot these last 2 days and it has been good for us to just go slow. Today we did some shopping at Lowes and bought paint and a water heater. Tomorrow I will attempt to put it in. If you are a new friend in the area and want to help, give me a call. I would love any help. We also got our dog shaved and she kind of looks like a rat now...BELLA that is. It was a good day of just relaxing and moving slow. Invited a woman to church tonight and we are hoping that she will come Sunday.
Wednesday night was great meeting with our small group! What a loving group that honesty came forth with real issues that they are facing. I love transparancy! This group truly cared for eachother and I must say that our group leaders had an amazing home! Wow!! I love the generosity of Christians in the group. We look forward to sharing life with them and growing together.
I cannot wait for the Unleash Conference next Thursday at NewSpring Church. I am sure I will be be blogging a lot about that next week. I start volunteering next week at the church, so please pray for me in this transition in my life. Very different than anything I have ever done before. I am very excited about this and all that God is going to teach me durring this time.
