what a day!

The day started off with dropping Amy's sister off at the airport in greenville,sc and the a quick trip to Starbucks. If anyone is interested in making some money, just buy stock in Starbucks when they come to Anderson, SC! We are so thankful that Beth came out with us for that long drive to our new home. It was a lot of fun having her with us for the journey! We also stopped at Costco while we were out and can I say... dairy is like 2x what it was in california! What is the deal with that? Then on the way home we found out something not so good about where we live... we live about 2 miles away from the "Jockey Lot". To describe the jockey lot, close your eyes and try to imagine the most hillbilly flee market/swatpmeet and then multiply that times 3,000 and you are getting close to what this place is! The sad thing is that it causes major traffic. I can't wait to take a visit, and I hear I should be current with my tetnus shot before I go. If you come out for a visit I am sure you will be going with us. We then went to home depot and became even more poor and back home just in time to view the most insane lightning and thunder storm of my life. It truly was awesome! I think that there were al least 1,000 strikes. I can totally get used to this weather. Amy is happy about her new walk in closet and we are planning on a huge day of unpacking tomorrow. Our small group informed us that they again are bringing over dinner to us again! Have I said yet how much we love our small group! They are awesome people! True friends already!! Can't wait to see what God is going to do in us while here. We love inviting people to church already and know God is changing lives in our city. The Best is yet to come!!!
