We cannot believe that there are only 5 more days till we leave for South Carolina. We are busy getting things packed and Amy is taking it slow because she is sick (please pray for her that she would recover fast). On Thursday we go and pick up our moving truck (changed it to a 26 footer!!!) and start packing the truck with the teens and some friends that night.
We have already connected with our small group from NewSpring Church and they are excited for us to be there. Our group leader even said that they would help us move in when we get there. I am beginning to love the South already!!! We have the keys the the house and had a great time talking with the owners and they feel like a mother and a father to us. Very sweet people. Did I mention yet that I get to BURN MY TRASH! That is so cool for a born and raised California boy... Something about very angry red ants too... we will see about that.
Please pray for us as we travel across the country, it will be a new thing for us to drive a 26 foot truck with a trailer.
We are going to be posting pictures along the way across the country at every state sign... Any requests on poses?

Are you going to be following the old Route 66, (southern route)? There are a lot of lonely long stretches of road. Tell us what Dad is telling you during the quiet times. Oh, I thought you said "posts." I see now you said "poses." Ha! these old eyes are getting bad, making up things as we read.
