God is blessing us with COURAGE

I was in bed just now and I was praying that God would open my eyes to see what He is doing. There is so much that is happening in Amy and my life, that it is easy to over look some blessings. God immediately opened my eyes to see that He is blessing us with courage. I write out in words the magnitude of what God is calling us to do and leave, but for some reason, Amy and I both are fearless in walking in this new path. The courage that He is giving us is what is giving us so much peace. I think about the story of Moses as he is standing at the waters edge (Red Sea). The courage it must have taken to even believe something as "crazy" as lifting your arms with a staff and the waters will separate! Then, to lead a people THROUGH a sea! That takes faith, courage and a fearlessness to obey God. Amy and I are risking everything to follow God's voice, and we are walking in obedience. The blessing in even the joy He is giving us is amazing as we walk in faith.

Proverbs 3: 5-6 says, "Trust in the Lord with all of your heart, and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge him and he will make your path straight."

We are trusting even when it is beyond our previous understanding or comforts. Encourage you all to trust God in what He is speaking into your life right now. Take that step of faith today and allow Him to lead your life. Someone might ask, why should I trust God? I would encourage you to start to believe that God is good... His plan for your life is that He would be glorified. Jeremiah 29:11 says, "For I know the plans that I have for YOU declares the Lord, plans to prosper you and not to harm you. Plans to give you a hope and a future." God has a plan for your life and it is a great plan. You can trust Him because at His core, He is good.

You're forgetting that it also took an army of chariot driving, weapon wielding Egyptians at Moses's back to help the process along.

Now that Jesus has restored our love relationship with the Father we have less fear and more love inspired motivations.

Only by the world's standard are you "risking everything." The truth is: you are risking nothing of any importance. Job security is an oxymoron....Father procures everything you need, even when you think it is coming from your own effort...like a job, or a benefit of society...like SSI, or the hand of a professional...like a doctor or Real Estate agent. Everything we have, everything we experience starts it's life on the lips of the Father as He speaks the Truth into our lives.
