I had the oppertunity this past Sunday (Nov. 7,2010) to preach at Santa Rosa Nazarene Church. I preached on the "Sun Stand Still" text from Joshua 10:1-14 and shared with the congregation my Sun Stand Still Prayer for our church. I believe that God has been sharing with me that we are going to see over 100 people saved during the weeks of December 12-19th.
I made a point to share that God is Soverign and He does not need us, but sometimes calls us into His work to stir Faith. When God promises something to you, He will do it! Even if that means that He would have to do something supernatural.
I believe that God is going to do a huge thing among us during this Christmas Season, but it will take us getting up out of our (Purple) chairs and doing something about it. So, we are encouraging the church to invite as many people as possible to either of the services on December 12th or 19th (By the way, they are welcome to come to both... any service for that matter...).
Who has God placed on your heart to invite? What is stopping you from inviting them?
Do you have fears of Evangelism? Do you have fears of not knowing what to say? If that is you, come this sunday to SRNC and I will be teaching some practical ways of evangelism to you and the church. It is my desire that we would be walking confidently in this season watching what GOD will do. We just have to be willing to be used!
