So on December 19. 2010, I want to encourage everyone to bring friends and family to church. The call is to step out and ask people who are far from God now to church that day. I am preparing a message now that God is BURNING on my heart that will present the Gospel clearly to everyone and give an opportunity to accept Christ as personal Lord and Saviour.
Here is what is probably going through some of your minds right now....
I am not good at asking people to come to church with me....
or
It is too much out of my comfort zone to ask someone to come to church....
To that I would say, do you think that it was in Jesus' "comfort zone" to die on a cross for YOU? People need Jesus, and you might be the only person in their life that will help point them to THE SAVIOUR- JESUS
I will do everything I can to prepare for that day and TRUST the Spirit of God to change lives that day. So INVITE!!! December 19th could be the day that your friend, dad, loved one turns to Jesus in faith!
