How to make Jesus Famous...

So I have been thinking this week about how to share with teens the how to's of "Making Jesus Famous", and it occurred to me that to make Jesus famous, He first has to be famous to us. We need to know that there is a reason to make his name famous.

I like this example that Jessica Fernandez helped me with last night. She could not stop talking about Justin Bieber, I mean it, I was talking about Jesus, and she was talking about Justin. Justin is famous to Jessica (not that Jesus is not) & I mean REALLY famous (makes me want to throw up). He is so famous, that she can't stop talking about the guy. I think that is why Justin has 4,799,989 people following him on Twitter, because he is liked.

Here is the thing. I think Justin Bieber sucks, sorry girls, but he does. I am not going to walk around and talk about someone that I think sucks. But I will talk about Jesus because he took me from Death to Life, and has given me true freedom! The fame of Justin Bieber will one day go away, but Jesus' fame will last forever.

We must fall in love with someone before we have the desire to make them famous! Are you making Jesus' name famous? Are you in love with Him? What would it take for you to fall more in love with Jesus, the one who has (can) set you free?

Let this be a day, week, month, year where we fall in love with Jesus so much that we can't stop talking about him to people WE love.
