Our pastor this last Sunday rocked our Churches socks off! He gave us permission to hangout with people who were sinners and are nothing like us! It was tense in the room as he spoke, and man was I challenged! Amy and I last night had an awesome time with our next door neighbor (MaryAnne) and she is making steps towards the person of Jesus. When we talked about her past experiences in the Catholic Church, she opened up and shared some painful times and reasons for never coming back (From the eairly age of 16). If you talk about Religion, people get tense, but if you talk about Jesus, I am seeing a more openness.
Pray you guts out for her, she needs Jesus more than anything! I am convensed that Santa Rosa, CA desperatly needs Jesus, and if they meet Him, the true Jesus, they will want him. I am not going to stop sharing Jesus, because everyone needs him!
It is worth taking time to share Jesus with people arround you. I know that there are those dumb emails that go out sometimes that say "You never know who will be in heaven because of your influence". But that is true, and powerful. Let Jesus live in you so people can see Jesus though you this week.
